Details

Screw pile foundations: Where ground conditions are suitable we employ stainless steel screw foundations. They are fast to install with minimal excavation. Moreover, there is greater ability to construct close to tree roots and other buildings, walls, fences etc.

Integral Storage: Where would we be without our garden shed. However, unlike our studios they don't weather our winters indefinitely and many have to be removed to create the space for the new studio. Our solution is to incorporate a storage within your bespoke design. Here it is accessible through an externally clad door.

External finish: This build has been designed and installed to fit close to the three boundaries at the bottom of the garden. There is therefore need only for cedar cladding on the front elevation, the sides and rear being finished in 10mm cement particle board and painted in grey weather shield paint.

Composite deck step and roof overhang: Note the continuous step across the front, finished in our non-slip composite decking with an LED-lit roof overhang above.

Laminate flooring: Our most popular floor finish which comes as standard in all Helix models. Its attractive yet durable against heavy traffic and office equipment. It comes with a 25-year manufacturer's residential warranty.

Heating and electrics: Our experienced electrician installed 10 internal and 3 external LED downlights, one pendant light in the storage room and 4 double power sockets, all Part P certified.
