I am really happy with the build and how it has helped our family with more space.
This family wished to install a multi-functional garden studio. It was to be enjoyed as a garden room with a fabulous decked area for entertaining and relaxing. It is also intended as an occasional use guest room for friends and family, hence the en-suite.
- Western red cedar cladding: This even grained almost knot free FSC wood is kiln dried and fixed with stainless steel secret fixings. Rear and both sides are finished with particle board and painted in grey weather shield paint.
- En-suite shower: With compact sink and toilet in vanity units, thermostatic electric shower with spacious 1200mm x 900mm tray, tiled on all 2 walls. Extractor fan with adjustable timer and a high opening frosted glass window.
- High performance glazing: Highly energy efficient Argon filled, heat reflective, thermally insulating, UV protective with toughened glass. The window and door frames are uPVC in anthracite grey.
- PIR Sensor: To illuminate the external lights on approach.
- Security: High Security 5-point locking to doors and key operated locks on windows.
- Non-slip composite decking: Creates extra space for outdoor living and entertaining.
- Heating: 1 x wall mounted convector heater, to boost temperatures when required.
- Laminate Flooring: This comes with a 25-year manufacturer's residential warranty.
- Electrics fittings: 12 internal dimmable and 3 external energy efficient LED down-lights, 5 double power sockets, all Part P certified.
