Great experience from design to finished build. The expert advice during the planning process was invaluable, the on-site team were excellent, accommodating several last-minute changes whilst still delivering a high-quality finish, on-time, and on-budget.The team were excellent throughout " the install team worked incredibly hard, with skill and thought for any impact the work might have. They were genuinely a pleasure to have around and are a real asset to the business.
It wasn't a particularly easy site to access, but they got all the materials and waste in and out with no damage to the house (which was incredible really!)
Working with Garden Spaces to build a spare room in our garden has enabled us to stay in our lovely flat for another 10 years at least. The design and build were handled expertly, by experienced professionals, to an extremely high standard.

Summary

With a family full house the Jefferies wanted to create extra living space for visiting friends and family. The garden shed was removed to create the space needed for this build and so a substantial integrated storage area was worked into the design.

Details

- Access: We love a challenge. Access for this entire build was through a ground floor flat.

- Planning permission: The main residence was a ground floor flat and so Planning Permission was needed. This we obtained without complication.

- Building regulation sign off: Because this build included waste water drainage the building inspector visited site to approve the work.

- En-suite shower room: Compact sink and toilet within vanity units, a corner shower (1100mm x 900mm) with thermostatic control.

- Composite decking: A fabulous expanse of decking across the front creates additional space for relaxing and entertaining.

- Doors and Windows: All powder coated aluminium (black/grey RAL7021ST)

- Integral blinds: Cleaning and maintenance free, these blinds have minimal impact when fully retracted and allow fine control of sunlight.

- Underfloor heating: With touch screen thermostatic controls.

- Electrics fittings: 12 internal dimmable and 4 external energy efficient LED down-lights, 4 double power sockets, plus a strip light in the storage area, all Part P certified.
