Summary

This client wished to install a multi-functional studio with some all-important integrated storage for garden tools etc. Without impacting heavily on garden space this lovely compact studio creates additional all-year-round space which can be used as an office or simply a garden room in which to relax.

Details

Bespoke design: We can design and install any sized building, dictated by your needs, the space available and of course budget. With thoughtfully designed glazing our studios provide a practical and inviting addition to your existing living space.

Integral Storage: The areas is accessible through a side door, seamlessly clad to blend with the rest of the studio. 

Windows and doors: The French doors and fixed panel are uPVC (anthracite grey externally, white internally) with A rated double glazing, ensuring great light and thermal performance.

External finish: This studio is clad in our beautiful yet incredible hardy western red cedar. It is grown in cooler climates which gives it the fine and even grain which is almost knot free. You can oil this wood annually or leave it to silver.

Underfloor heating: Our installers expertly laid engineered oak flooring with the underfloor heating giving the studio a warm and luxurious feel. Thanks to the laminated nature of engineered oak, it will not cause problems when heated and comes with a 30-year manufacturer's residential warranty.

Electrics: Our electrician installed 4 internal dimmable LED down-lights, 3 double power sockets and a single strip light in the storage room, all Part P certified.
