Summary

This family simply needed more space so decided to install a garden studio with integrated storage,accessible externally. Internally the design incorporates an alcove / recess area behind the storage partition, with the view to additional storage such as a clothes rail. Initially the space is likely to be used as a family room / play room but it may well evolve into an office space, as the family's needs change.

Details

Integrated Storage: Formed form SIPs panels. The access door has been seamlessly clad to blend with the front façade.

Western Red Cedar cladding: A highly durable FSC wood that has a fine almost knot-free grain. It can be oiled annually to maintain the depth of colour or left to silver.

French doors: Opening on to an anti-slip composite decked step, with overhead external LED downlights.

Frames: All are powder coated aluminium in black/grey (RAL 7021ST).

Heating: A wall mounted convector heater with thermostat and timer.

Flooring: Durable and attractive, our 10mm v groove laminate is guaranteed for 25-years.

Electrics: 5 internal dimmable LED downlights, 2 external Led down lights and 4 double power sockets (all in brushed metal finish) installed, plus a pendant light in the store room. Part P certified by our electrician.
