The Gladstones, having recently moved into this house, wanted to replace an existing double garage with a fully insulated garden room that could double up as an occasional guest room.
Bespoke design: The details of this design were carefully pulled together, achieving the best studio for the budget available.
Western Red Cedar: This timeless classic external cladding compliments the grey frames and decking. It can be oiled annually or left to gracefully silver.
Ensuite: Consisting of compact sink & toilet (in vanity units), corner shower enclosure (1.2m x 0.9m), white tiled walls, a thermostatic electric shower and extractor (with adjustable timer), a macerator (3 way) and bathroom blower heater.
Bifold doors: Three sashes (900mm wide x 2.05m high) opening onto a wide composite deck step with a low threshold, extending the internal space into the garden.
High performance glazing: Argon gas filled, heat reflective, thermal insulating, UV protective, double glazed units with toughened glass.
High quality laminate flooring: Our most popular flooring thanks to the aesthetic appeal yet durable easy clean nature. It is guaranteed for 25-years.
Heating: A wall mounted convector heater with timer enable you to boost internal temps on really chilly winter days.
Electrics: 10 internal dimmable LED down-lights, 3 external LED lights, and 4 double power sockets (all in brushed metal finish), all Part P certified.
