Summary

The client runs his UK business remotely from his home in Meyreuil in south of France and was seeking suitable office facilites. The proposed site for the garden office building was a disused elevated platform and therefore the ground work requirements needed to be considered carefully.
A benefit of southern France is the good weather and Mr Coveyduck was keen to be able to enjoy working within the natural environment of his garden whist still having access to office facilities such as telephone and broadband.

Details

We project managed the build from the UK and made several visits to the site to ensure the build went to plan. As this build was outside the UK we made use of local contractors known to the client as well as transporting some of the required materials across France.
The customer specified a particular tile for the flooring which we were happy to install along with his choice of solar powered electric blinds. Further electrical work was required for the installation of PIR operated security lighting and additional wiring of data cables to provide internet on phone services to the garden room.
The evaluated position of the office provides a focal point in the garden whist offering the home worker the ideal vista from which to work.
