From design and discussion the team delivered on time and to budget. There was complete and courteous support throughout the project and our concerns and issues were discussed and fully taken on board. The additional decking looks great. Summary

This project would provide our client with a garden music room large enough to accomodate their grand piano, freeing up space inside the house. The new room would be used in all weathers and so would need to be warm during the winter months while opening up in the summer so that the garden could be enjoyed. To help fuse inside and outside a large decking area would be a feature of the design and provide an area where family and friends could relax.

Details

Having agreed the design requirements and evaluated planning needs we set about construction of the music room. The cedar clad building was erected in just a few weeks with the large circular decking area added once the main construction finished.
The three sash sliding doors make it possible to open the building right up to the garden or in colder weather offer a well insulated barrier to the elements. We installed subtle lighting in the soldier course above the glazing which gives the building an impressive appearance once the sun sets.
Internally we brought power to the room which was used for lighting, electrical sockets and to power our popular climate control unit.
