Summary

Once again we were exhibiting at Grand Designs Live and this year our stand was much larger than previous years. The show, held at ExCel in Docklands, London from the 4th to 12th May showcases a range of suppliers and features a large section dedicated to gardens.

Our theme this year was based around the connections between inside and usable outside space that maximise the nuances of our ever changing climate.

The studio building on display was another of our cantilevered pillar less corner designs which helps open up the room to the outside world. It's an option chosen by many of our clients and we received a large number of compliments on the design.

Details

We took the opportunity at Grand Designs Live to show off our newly designed range of 'Bolt On' undercover areas which seamlessly attach to our Garden Studio buildings. The structures have light wells within the roof so they are always dry, light and bright - but not fully exposed to the elements, these can be combined with retractable screens to enhance the effect. These additions to our studios will open up many further possibilities for clients looking to integrate their new garden building with the rest of their landscaping. Our new range of 'Bolt Ons' can be added on installation or even retrofitted to an existing structure.
We understand our clients enjoy their gardens and have aimed to create outdoor spaces that function in our climate and that will enable them to maximise the use of the space throughout the spring, summer and early autumn. Possible uses are alfresco dining, BBQ areas and soft seating. The core studio itself is as ever a genuine all year round structure.

Our aim is to make our Garden Spaces as usable as possible for as much of the year as possible. If you add flexible storage areas " the Garden Space can transform the functionality of your garden and open up a world of possibilities " in areas that are generally under utilised.
