Thank you very much for our fabulous 'garden space'. The internal and external finish of the Elegans is very good indeed. The aluminium doors and windows are of solid construction and excellent quality. The 900 wide sliding panels open up the room perfectly and the under floor heating allows us to enjoy the room all year round. We chose to create a bespoke layout with wrap-around glazing to suit the mid-garden location and Garden Spaces responded fantastically well with ideas and solutions to enable us to make the best use of the space. We love our new room. Erected start-to-finish in less than 3-weeks, it's a great, high quality, light, bright addition to the house which is going to be used by the entire family. We whole-heartedly recommend Roger and the Garden Spaces team.

Summary

The chosen site for this garden office was far from the client's house being situated midway down the long garden. A well as a work space the room would also serve as area for the family to relax and enjoy quiet time together.
Having considered the position of the room in the garden, the designs presented featured 'panoramic' style glazing from which maximum natural light could be enter the room and enable the vistas of the garden to be enjoyed.

Details

Due to the amount of glass used and the need for the room to be warm throughout the year, special thermally efficient glazing was used which helps retain heat in colder temperatures. Two additional side windows were added bringing further light inside and allowing the room to be adequately ventilated when the bifolding doors are not fully opened.
Underfloor heating was installed along with wall lights chosen and supplied by the client. The exterior lighting was neatly installed in the soffits around the glazing and wired to a PIR sensor meaning as the building is approached the subtle lighting is automatically activated showing off the room at it's best and making entry in the dark straight forward.
