Summary

Our client on this build wanted a large garden building which would be used as a pool house and incorporate a sauna. Access to the build site would not be easy as the pool was at the bottom of a steep slope so this would have to be taken into account before materials were delivered. The building would sit overlooking wonderful views so lots of windows were requested so these could still be seen from within and allow plenty of natural light into the building.

Details

To allow as much light into the building as possible whilst also taking in the wonderful views, the customer chose our Apex Duo style of building. This has large windows on the front, rising into the apex of the roof. In addition to these, side screens were also included so that the customer could still appreciate the views on offer from within the building. The windows and door were finished in our powder coated aluminium frames.
Due to the sauna being in the building, our wooden floor would need some protection. This building was fitted with our sold wood floor, and this was then treated with a chemical water repelling sealant in order to keep it protected from heat and water damage.
The building itself was strategically positioned to hide the pumping shed which contained the filtration and heating systems for the pool. These can be quite unsightly and this hid them very well.
