We are absolutely delighted with our room it is comfortable and spacious and gives us a fantastic extra space where I can do my various hobbies without having to pack them away at the end of the day. The doors open onto the garden and make it the perfect place to relax after work. Chris spent a lot of time going through the initial drawings to make sure we were happy and the building team were always polite and helpful and made sure we knew what was happening and when they would be arriving. Thank you for an excellent job.
The Groves wanted to create additional living space for hobbies and simply to relax in. Installing a garden studio seemed the perfect solution, away from the distractions of house work! And, so long as the gardening isn't nagging at your conscience, it greater intimacy with the outdoors, especially when, as in this design, you can push your bi-folds wide open.
Bespoke design: A unique size and specification to suit our clients space, requirements and budget.
One stop shop: Before commencing construction our Garden Spaces build team cleared and levelled the area.
Integral storage: A must have for garden tools and equipment, accessible through a separate door, seamlessly clad to blend with the rest of the cedar façade.
Integral blinds: Magnetically operated these blinds give perfect light control. They sit within the argon filled double glazing, so need no dusting (!) and are maintenance free.
Heating: A wall wounded convector heater was installed with thermostatic controls.
Laminated floor: Hugely popular our 10 v groove laminate looks great and is so durable it comes with a 25-year residential warranty.
Window and door frames: All are powder coated aluminium frames (RAL 7016).
Glazing: Our Argon filled double glazing has a 'Planitherm Total plus' heat reflective coating, so is exceptionally thermal insulating without excessive solar gain.
Electrical installations: 10 internal giving ample light for hobbies and reading, with 2 external LED down-lights and 4 double power sockets, installed and Part P certificated by our experienced electrician.
