Summary

A stunning pool of these proportions deserves a pool house that compliments it both aesthetically and functionally. This client wished for a spacious indoor area overlooking the pool, to include a shower and toilet room, a storage room and within the main internal area, space for a kitchenette. We invest a great deal of time surveying our build sites and designing, with the client, their vision. Thereby, we ensure the build is not only bespoke and stylish but crucially, it is functionally fit for purpose and built to last a life time. This palatial pool house was no exception and as with many projects we coordinated with other contractors employed on site to ensure a seamless build.

Details

The land earmarked for this build was sloping, with significant drainage issues. These were addressed by the clients own contractors prior to our arrival. As part of this ground work they installed the waste, water and electrical connections and so communication was important to ensure the correct positioning of these services for our on-going build.
As the photos demonstrate this pool house was designed to maximise the sweeping views of the pool, patio area and garden with glazing across the front and side. We incorporated French doors to the front and a side door leading directly out onto the patio both fitted with high security 5 point locking as standard. Within the building, a sleek shower room, capacious store room and a perfect place for the kitchenette (fitted retrospectively) completed the client's aspirations. And, because the entire structure is built using the highly thermally efficient SIPs (structurally insulated panel system) and argon filled 'A' rated double glazing, this large building is exceptionally energy efficient making it easy to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the year.
So, this striking room is more than just a fantastic pool house to compliment a fantastic pool. It is a beautiful space that can be used on any occasion at any time of the year " whether that be a BBQ, drinks party, or simply a retreat for reading a good novel after an invigorating swim!
