The team were very professional throughout " especially as we are were not actually present during the build " your ground team worked well with Steve who was project managing on our behalf - Garden Spaces provided us with excellent service from start to finish.

Summary

Trust is an important element of any purchase or partnership and our client placed trust in both us and our product, as they were living abroad throughout this entire project, from concept to completion. Their desire was to capitalise on some available space by creating a contemporary bespoke garden room, ideal for relaxing in and enjoying their outdoors regardless of the time of year.

Details

Mr Baker appointed a project manager here in the UK who operated as our point of contact and provided access for site surveys and the subsequent build. All communication was otherwise by email, with designs and specifications being pinged across the Atlantic ether for reviews and revisions. Our high specification Elegans Studio was chosen, with a deep run of decking to the front and narrower decking down both sides (over 15msq in total). Composing 65% thermowood and 35% plastic our non-slip decking is highly durable and beautifully finished with secret fixings and border capping. Crucially it is carefully installed to lie perfectly flush with the threshold creating a stunningly continuum of floor space, without trip hazards when the bifold doors are flung open.
As mentioned, this garden room was fitted, as standard, with many high specification features (please see 'ELEGANS STUDIO ' on our website). We do offer a number of additional optional extras allowing our clients to create a truly bespoke solution. Incorporated into this design were the following features:
- Hitachi Shirokuma energy efficient inverter unit (climate control)
- Additional halogen down lighters (above standard specification)
- An external (grey) power socket
- Symphony 4 channel remote light control
Good communication and tight coordination of this project was the key to its success. Despite never meeting, we were delighted to receive feedback from our client and hope that they enjoy many relaxing hours in their stylish new garden space, regardless of the Great British weather!
