The build is great, I'm extremely happy and I must say that both guys are absolute professionals who made me feel valued as a customer of Garden Spaces. The quality of the product is also excellent, in fact landscapers who have come round to estimate for the grass work were also extremely impressed. I was sure to pass on your name. I have also already recommended you to several friends who will be in touch soon to arrange estimates.
My thanks to you and the entire team for turning my vision into reality! I'm typing this now from my new Garden Office.

Summary

Mr and Mrs Tindal wished to install a garden office but had a rather unusual request. They wished to incorporate a glass house into their design as well as some storage for their bicycles. Every studio we build is bespoke, designed from scratch in collaboration with our clients, to ensure the best 'fit' for the available space, budget and functional requirements. The SIPs panel construction not only means exceptional thermal efficiency but great design flexibility, durability and structural stability. Moreover it is swift and clean to install.

Details

Prior to commencement, we removed an existing shed and levelled the ground ready for the installation of this impressive and rather quirky multi-functional studio. We sourced the cedar framed greenhouse and installed it on a rigid concrete slab, building the cedar clad frame that is integral to the rest of the studio, around it. Our cedar cladding is a kiln dried knot free FSC wood. It withstands the elements for decades without deterioration beyond natural silvering though many clients choose to oil it annually to retain the golden brown colours. To the side of this studio, behind the green house, is a bespoke storage area with double door access to ease getting bicycles in and out. The office area, almost 10msq, feels spacious and light courtesy of the French doors and large glazed panel, plus a high opening window on the rear wall, all in uPVC anthracite grey frames with A-rated argon filled toughened glass. Our electrician installed six internal and three external downlights, three double power sockets, a strip light in the storage room and a wall mounted convector heater with thermostat and timer. The floor is our popular oak effect 10mm V-groove laminate, which comes with a 25 year residential warranty. Further flooring options can be seen on the website. We wish the Tindals many fruitful years of work and play with their new garden studio.
