Summary

Mr Bejerano visited our stand at the Grand Designs Show in London and was suitably impressed with the quality of our buildings. (We have a stand every year at Grand Designs London and Birmingham NEC so come and meet the team and see our designs first hand!) We subsequently installed this stylish bespoke garden office which is of our clients' own design and an integral part of his wider garden landscaping project. Notable features include:

Details

Integral storage: Accessible through a separate external door which is seamlessly clad to blend with the rest of the front elevation. This provides dry secure storage for bikes, garden tools etc.

Glazing and frames: Both the sliding doors and windows have powder coated aluminium frames in RAL 7021ST. The double glazing is A rated for energy efficiency, being Argon filled and treated with 'Planitherm' coating, which deflects heat back into the room.

Window and doors: The sliding doors (each being 1m by 2.05m) give ample light to the room. The side window (2m by 0.8m) also allows maximum light in and great views out without compromising on internal space for a desk.

External finish: We offer two types of cladding: thermowood (standard for Helix studios) and western red cedar (a popular upgrade). Both are kiln dried and secured with secret stainless steel fixings. Mr Bejerano upgraded to cedar across the front and side elevation with the rear wall and boundary side finished with cement particle board.  

Flooring: Our v-groove oak-effect laminate looks authentic and is exceptionally durable, coming with a 25-year manufacturer's residential warranty.

Wall mounted convector heater: This is installed with a thermostatic digital control panel.

Electrics: Our electrician installed 7 internal and 2 external LED down-lights and 5 double power sockets, all Part P certified.
