Overall we are very satisfied with the build, and the finished room is just as we expected it to be. The building team were very reliable and considerate, and a pleasure to have on site.

Summary

The requirements of this project were to provide additional space to house two pianos. Mr and Mrs Ward's daughter is a dedicated pianist but lacked the space inside the house in which to practice and so the room would solve the problem of finding a suitable practice space.
The garden was particularly narrow so the building would need to be of a suitable design so as to have room for the pianos as well as allowing acces to the rest of the garden.

Details

With a music room or studio there are certain items that are discussed as a matter of course when planning such a project and it was decided that some soundproofing should feature in this building's design. This would help retain the sound within the room, avoiding any disruption to the neighbouring properties.
A climate control unit was fitted to help maintain a consistant temperature for the pianos, ensuring they continue to play and sound their best.
The general specification for this building closely followed our standard Helix range with typical upvc glazing and laminate flooring being used. Internal lighting was installed with the necessary power being routed to the room from the main property.
