Comments

A first class product that has exceeded our expectations in all respects. This is a fabulous addition to our property and I would recommend Garden Spaces to friends and family. The pre-sale service was very good, with good communication and a professional approach. The on-site team again, were very good, personable and professional. Once the build was finished, problems (if any and only very minor in our case) were dealt with promptly and well. The build team were very good, friendly and very professional. I was quite happy to leave them in the garden with the house open if I had to go out. The studio has exceeded our expectation. We love it! Yes, I definitely would recommend Garden Spaces to others.

Summary

This new garden building would be used as a hobby room, for sewing and for enjoying views of the garden. Good natural light as important and so the glazing that would be used was a point we discussed.
Situated within a small garden the building needed to sit neatly in the corner without dominating or overpowering the rest of the outside space.
No planning was needed as with the majority our our garden rooms as the height of the building would fall within the planning requirements.

Details

The finished studio was clad with our thermowood cladding which provides a weatherproof and attractive finish to the building. As our client was keen to harvest the rainwater falling onto the roof we fitted guttering to the rear of the studio which would then direct the water to a small water butt.
To ensure there would be ample natural light within the room our design included glazing to the two front aspects along with a slimline horizontal opening window to the rear. Internally the room was painted in a bright white to help reflect light inside and this was complemented with the white finish of our standard Helix specification upvc door and window frames.
