Summary

The Whitehead's, like so many families, decided to capitalise on their garden space to create some fabulous all-year-round living space. A handy storage room was integrated onto the design, giving an ideal dry and secure area for storing garden equipment, bikes etc.

Integrated storage: Accessed through a wooden door with a 5-lever mortice lock to BS 3621

Bi-folding doors: A set of 4 sashes (900mm wide by 2050mm high)

Bespoke overhang: Cantilevered roof provides a covered area of decking.

Window and door frames: All powder coated aluminium (RAL7016) to match the house.

High performance glazing: Our SIPs buildings are exceptionally thermally efficient, which is great news for your pocket. Your studio may become rather warm in the height of summer. High performance glazing enables you to stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Underfloor heating: This works perfectly with engineered wood floors, giving a luxurious under foot feel and perfect ambient temperatures. It comes with a thermostatic touch screen control unit.

Engineered oak flooring: Looks and feels beautiful and comes with a 25-year manufacturer's warranty.

Electrics: 6 internal and 2 external dimmable LED down-lights, a strip light in the storage area and 4 double power sockets (all in brushed metal finish), all Part P certified.
