Summary

The Carews visited our at Grand Designs Show Live at Birmingham NEC (In lieu of expensive show rooms we exhibit there and at the Grand Designs Live London every year!). They loved the quality of our product choosing us to design and install this bespoke chill-out garden studio.

Details

Screw Pile foundations: Unless ground conditions dictate otherwise we use innovative fast and exceptionally durable stainless steel screw pile foundations to support our building. They cause minimal disruption and minimal damage to surrounding structure such as tree roots.

Bike Storage: This bespoke design includes a purpose roof overhang along the rear elevation for bicycle storage - a great use of space.

Integrated Workshop: Formed with SIPs (Structural insulated panels) this room has a separate door and window.

Energy efficient double glazing: 3 x sash (each 900mm x 2.05m) bi-folding doors opening to the garden, a single full height narrow window and a top hung window in the workshop.

Windows and doors frames: All are powder coated aluminium (RAL 7021ST grey/black)

Engineered oak flooring: Guaranteed for 25 years.

Heating: A wall mounted convector heater with thermostat was installed to boost temps if required. Our buildings are exceptionally thermally efficient therefore minimum additional energy is needed for heating.

Electrics fittings: 5 internal and 5 external dimmable LED down-lights (brushed metal), 6 double power sockets (brushed metal), plus a pendant light and 2 further power sockets in the store room, all Part P certified.
