Summary

As families grow and children get older, they often need more space than when they were younger. Space originally used for prams, buggies and toys is replaced by bikes, sofas, teenagers, musical instruments and more. A bespoke space in which families can unwind, relax and socialise is a great asset to have and that is what Mr and Mrs Baker wanted when they came to us.
They wanted a large garden studio which could accomodate a pool table and a couple of sofas with a large decked area on which a hot tub could sit. Inside the studio they also requested a shower room and a small kitchenette area to keep the room as versatile as possible allowing whoever was using the studio to be totally self sufficient if the need called for it.

At Garden Spaces we pride ourselves on being able to design and construct a studio for any purpose and have gained vast experience building studios of all shapes and sizes so taking on a large project such as this one was no problem.
We can provide all utilities required for a studio with bath/shower rooms but in this case Mr and Mrs Baker had the utilities installed before we arrived on site. We are happy for clients to do this and will liase with their contractors to ensure the correct spec and finish is left for us when we arrive to begin constructing the studio.
This studio is from our Elegans range and features underfloor heating, brushed chrome fixtures and fittings, engineered wood flooring throughout, downlights but internal and external, Western Red Cedar cladding, powder coated aluminium framed windows and doors with high performance glazing and a large composite decked area.
The decked area is large enough for the hot tub which our clients installed after we had finished. The dark grey colour of the decking compliments the studio perfectly both in terms of the cladding and the finish on the door and window frames.
Internally the studio has a small kitchenette as request along with a fully fitted shower suite complete with toilet and sink. The main room of the studio has plenty of space for the pool table as well as more than enough room to move around when playing. There is space for a large sofa and with plenty of electrical sockets there will soon be television, games consoles and more occupying the space. This large room is perfect for all the family and provides the extra space that is missing in the main dwelling.
A perfect family room ready for many years of use.
