Sunshine expected over next few days

Our Solution

After a dismal summer, owners of garden living rooms might be pleased to hear that the space could be bathed in a warm glow as soon as tomorrow - as 'pleasant sunshine' has been predicted for much of Britain over the next few days. That's according to a spokeswoman from the Met Office, cited by telegraph.co.uk, who believes that most of the UK will be baked in sunshine 'over the next couple of days'; putting an end to the recent rainy conditions. Britain has experienced a series of wet summers, which have been attributed to warming in the Atlantic Ocean - where a cyclical pattern of rising and falling ocean temperatures has had a major influence on our weather, bbc.co.uk reports. Supposedly, a warmer-than-usual Atlantic 'favours a mild spring (especially April), summer and autumn, in England and across Europe'. As a result, weather can vary from pounding rain to warm sun - the latter of which is expected over the course of the next few days. Commenting on the impending sunshine, the spokeswoman said: "Nowhere will see a great deal of rain as it's only going to be light outbreaks. Most of the light drizzly rain will be in the South-West. "The rest of the country looks dry with sunny spells by day and clear skies at night. Nights across the country will be quite cold with a touch of frost in places," she added.
