GASTROPOD: STUDIO RANGE SPECIFICATION

AS STANDARD YOUR GASTRODPOD GARDEN STUDIO WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ‘ULTRA FUNCTIONAL’ SPECIFICATION INCLUDED;

FOUNDATIONS/FLOOR: 
Pressure treated timbers at 600mm centres with 75mm thick silver backed foam board insulation, under wrapped with breathable waterproof membrane, onto recycled rubber pads atop concrete pile foundations (in “normal” garden conditions).

WALL STRUCTURE: 
100mm stud wall at 400mm centres, with 75mm thick silver backed foam board insulation and wrapped with a breathable waterproof membrane.

ROOF CONSTRUCTION: 
Pressure treated timbers at 600mm centres with 75mm thick silver backed  foam board insulation with single ply EPDM roofing system (20 year guarantee, 50 year expected life) finished with black plastic rainwater guttering.

DOORS, WINDOWS and SCREENS:
1 off 0.8m x 2.05m single door or, 1 off 1.6m wide x 2.05m high French Doors. All have 2 off- 0.4m wide x 2.05m high fixed windows and 1 off - 1.2m wide x 0.48m high top hung opening window; uPVC double glazing (white) with high security 5-point locking to doors, key operated locks to windows and double glazed with toughened glass.

EXTERNAL CLADDING:
Thermowood ‘D’ Pine (zero maintenance) external shiplap timber cladding with face fixings. Cement particle board on the rear and side elevation, filled joints and weather shield painted (white).

INTERNAL FINISH:
Walls: Fully skimmed plasterboard - decorated interior (matt white) with 4” skirting boards.
Floor: Carpet tiles – choice of colours.

FIXTURES & FITTINGS:
1 light switch (white), 2 to 4 double power sockets (white), 5’ contemporary strip light(s) and a 2 way consumer unit with RCD.
