Water Features for Your Garden Room

An indoor water feature is an excellent way of bringing the outdoors inside. It’s good feng shui, it’s pleasant to look at, and the sound of water is relaxing and therapeutic. Whether your garden room is an office, an art studio or just a family space, you’re sure to love our indoor water feature ideas.

Water Walls

At its simplest, a water wall is a polished stainless steel “wall”, down which water runs into a small stone filled reservoir and is pumped back round again. Wall mounted or freestanding, water walls are beautiful to look at and excellent space saving water features. Many water wall designers will engrave walls with your choice of design and will supply ambient lighting too.

Bubble Tubes

Particularly suitable for creative offices, bubble tubes are tall acrylic tubes filled with a constant stream of bubbles and lit by coloured lights. The mesmerising effect might distract you from your work - but on the other hand, it will probably give birth to a good few brilliant ideas.

Water Tables

How about a coffee or dining table with a difference? Artist Nayer Kazemi designs stunning stainless steel tables, each of which incorporates a bed of water and a rock waterfall in the middle of the table. Contemporary and practical, this is a brilliant way to bring some calm to your garden office.

Water Chimes

Blending both the relaxing properties of water and the healing properties of sound, water chimes usually involve bell shaped chimes which move around in the flowing water, striking one another randomly to create a very soothing and holistic sound effect. Water chimes don’t take up much space, and are perfect for creating a calm and meditative atmosphere.

Tabletop Fountains

Tabletop fountains come in thousands of designs and at a vast range of prices. If you’re prepared to hunt around for your chosen aesthetic, you can find the perfect tabletop fountain for your garden office - what better way to energise the air, or jump start your creativity?

Water features of any kind will enhance your garden office; it’s just a matter of deciding how much space you want to dedicate, and how much of a statement you want to make.
